MASON CITY, Iowa (June 14, 2018) – Lee Enterprises (NYSE: LEE), a leading provider of news, information and advertising in 49 markets, has named Samuel Gett publisher of the Globe Gazette in Mason City, Iowa. Gett succeeds Roy Biondi, who was serving as publisher of both the Globe Gazette and The Courier in Waterloo, Iowa. Biondi will remain publisher in Waterloo.

“The team in Mason City has done fantastic work over the past couple years, especially with the digital transformation,” White added. “They've grown digital readership greatly through expanded social media presence and up-to-the-minute breaking news alerts, while our sales teams offer the best suite of digital marketing solutions available. I'm very grateful to Roy Biondi for his work in Mason City and eager to see what this team can accomplish with a full-time leader working side-by-side with them.”
