DAVENPORT, Iowa (October 19, 2018) — Lee Enterprises, Incorporated (NYSE: LEE), a leading provider of news, information and advertising in 49 markets, announced today that Davis Taylor will become publisher of the Napa Valley Register in Napa, California effective November 1, 2018. Taylor will continue to serve as publisher of The Sentinel in Hanford, California. He succeeds Brenda Speth, who has left the company.

Taylor was named publisher of The Sentinel in 2013 after serving as sales and marketing director for Gannett Co., Inc.’s Times-Delta Media Group. He also was a director of national, local and target marketing sales teams at The Seattle Times. His publishing career of 36 years includes sales and marketing executive positions at the Oakland Tribune and Media News Group, San Jose Mercury News and Harte-Hanks Communications.

Taylor is a member of the Rotary Club of Hanford Sunset, including serving as president in 2017. He is an executive board member of the Kings County Economic Development Corporation and an executive board member of Main Street Hanford.
