Dave Worstell

DAVENPORT, Iowa (September 24, 2018) — Lee Enterprises, Incorporated (NYSE: LEE), a leading provider of news, information and advertising in 49 markets, announced today that Billings Gazette Communications General Manager Dave Worstell will become publisher. Worstell will succeed Mike Gulledge, who announced he is leaving the company effective September 30, 2018.

“Dave is an experienced and highly effective leader within Lee,” said Nathan Bekke, Vice President – Consumer Sales & Marketing and Lee group publisher. “He’s a life-long resident of Montana with a great passion for the Billings community. I expect him to be very successful in his new role.”

Worstell began work with Billings Gazette Communications in 2003 and served in a number of leadership roles in advertising, marketing and operations before being named general manager in 2014. His career also includes stints with the Independent Record in Helena, Montana and the Missoulian in Missoula, Montana.

Worstell is a board member of the Billings Chamber of Commerce. He holds a bachelor's degree in business and marketing from Montana State University, and he and his wife Nancy have three children.
